Dog and Cat Boarding & Lodging
Please note, our pet lodging services are for established clientele only.
Pet Boarding
As fellow pet owners, we know that time away from your pet can be stressful for both owner and companion alike. That’s why we have created friendly, comforting environments where every pet can thrive until their owner returns. With separate, spacious spaces for cats and dogs, Country Creek Animal Hospital is dedicated to providing your pet with personalized attention and care tailored to their health needs and comfort level.
Upscale Cat Condos
For visiting felines, Country Creek Animal Hospital offers upscale cat condos. Our entire second floor is dedicated to our feline guests in our luxurious, over-sized kitty condos. Your kitty will sleep and play the day away high above the lobby of the clinic, looking down on all the activity and goings-on that the clinic can provide. Your cat will do so knowing that there is not a dog in sight or within ear-shot of this area. We want your feline friends to be as comfortable as they could possibly be while you are away. Keeping the puppies and kitties separate helps us provide an environment that is relatively free of stress and anxiety for our kitty friends.
While your cat is lodging with us, our team can provide routine veterinary care like wellness care, vaccinations, and dental cleanings. You can also have your kitty pampered with a spa day with our team that includes a bath, “paw”-dicure, and brush out.
Cat Lodging Requirements
If your cat is staying with us, we require that they adhere to the following wellness guidelines:
- Be current and have proof from a Veterinarian of a Rabies vaccination (needs to not be expired)
- Be current and have proof from a Veterinarian of a FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis-Calicivrus-Panleukopenia) vaccination. We abide by a three year protocol for adult cats, and kittens should have at least 2 rounds starting at 8 weeks at least 3-4 weeks apart.
All new kitties to our Cat Condo Facility will be administered a physical examination by our doctors to verify healthy status. The normal fee for a physical examination and client consultation will apply. If any abnormal findings are noted, you will be notified and any treatment plans for you to consider will be made available as well.
Please note that a non-refundable deposit may be required for Lodging during a Holiday or busy time.
Dog Cottages
At Country Creek Animal Hospital, boarding for dogs and puppies is a unique hybrid between lodging and daycare. Unlike traditional boarding facilities which may use cramped metal cages or kennels, our dog-specific lodging facility features large, oversized runs, each with access to our large fenced-in play area where they can stretch their legs multiple times a day and play with all the other pooches for “Happy Hours”. During group play sessions, your canine companion is able to play with other dogs as well as our team members, ensuring they receive the individualized attention and love while you are away. We also do nap/quiet time as well so your pup can rest and relax in private
Our canine lodging area is designed without any stainless steel cages, just all over-sized spacious runs for your doggies to relax and play in. We would never want to leave our pooches in a cage, so we made certain that yours wont either while they are here with us.
For lodging, we offer extended stay packages, the ability to lodge multiple pets in a single suite (space and temperament permitting), Sunday pick-up and check-in times, group play sessions, we can administer any medications that your pet may need while here, our veterinary team can perform examinations, wellness care, dental and surgical procedures while your pet is here with us and they can recover under our team’s supervision, as well as offer pet spa services during the stay like full-service baths with ear cleaning, gland expression, “paw”-dicure, and brush-out.

This separation is designed to cater to each species’ comfort and reduce anxiety, reflecting the hospital’s commitment to personalized care for each guest.
What vaccination requirements must my pets meet before boarding?
Country Creek Animal Hospital requires proof of up‑to‑date vaccinations before a pet can board. For cats, this includes Rabies and FVRCP under a current protocol. For dogs, requirements include Distemper/Adenovirus/Parvovirus, Rabies, Canine Influenza (H3N2), Bordetella, plus negative fecal/intestinal parasite screening and ongoing preventives (heartworm, flea, and tick). Upon arrival, all new pets receive a comprehensive physical exam by the hospital’s veterinarians to verify healthy status before boarding begins.
Can Country Creek Animal Hospital administer medications during my pet’s stay?
Yes, Country Creek Animal Hospital can administer medications your pet needs while boarding. Whether your dog or cat requires daily medications, injections, or specific treatments, the hospital’s veterinary team ensures consistent, accurate administration. Pets are monitored closely for any changes in health or behavior, and veterinary follow‑up is discussed with you at pick‑up if any issues arise during their stay. This medical oversight is a key advantage of boarding with a veterinary practice compared to stand‑alone kennels.
What is the boarding schedule and how do I check in or pick up my pet?
Country Creek Animal Hospital offers boarding pick‑up and drop‑off Monday through Friday (7:30 am–6 pm), Saturday morning, and Sunday late afternoon, typically by appointment. Scheduling is coordinated with the hospital to ensure staff availability and smooth transitions. Because boarding clients must be established with Country Creek’s veterinary services, check‑in includes reviewing vaccine records and health requirements before your pet’s stay.
Are reservations required for boarding, especially during holidays?
Yes, reservations are strongly encouraged, particularly during busy travel periods and holidays. Country Creek Animal Hospital may require a non‑refundable deposit for lodging during peak demand times to secure your pet’s spot. Because boarding services are offered only to established veterinary clients, planning ahead ensures proper scheduling and compliance with wellness requirements before your departure.
How do I become eligible to use Country Creek Animal Hospital’s boarding services?
Boarding at Country Creek Animal Hospital is available only to established veterinary clients. This means your pet must have an existing patient record with current vaccines and a history of care at the hospital. If your pet is new to the practice, an initial wellness visit and vaccine verification will be arranged to meet boarding prerequisites. This policy ensures your pet’s safety and continuity of care throughout their stay.
What type of veterinary care can my pet receive while boarding?
While boarding in Allen, TX, pets can receive comprehensive veterinary services from Country Creek Animal Hospital. These include wellness exams, vaccinations, dental cleanings, diagnostics as needed, and treatment for minor conditions.
